The state technology agency made just five purchases of IT services in April and spent the most on a single buy.
The
California Department of Technology spent exactly $1,693,749.99 last month on those five purchases. Here, with rounding, is where that money went, based on data in the
State Contracting and Procurement Registration System:
- $1.6 million to Folsom-based Tek Yantra, an IT consulting and software development company that’s familiar to the state. The purchase was for site reliability engineering for cloud streamline consulting, and represented a one-year contract, from April 21-April 20, 2022.
- $36,700 to SunstoneIT for TPX tubes migration services, a six-month contract from April 7-Oct. 6.
- $9,999.99 to Anil Dewan for state services assessment and stabilization, a three-month contract from April 19-July 18.
- $7,590 to Acuity Technical Solutions for “Cireson business management suite S&M software assurance subscription support renewal.” This is a one-year contract from April 1-March 31, 2022.
- $2,500 to Natix Inc. for “PSP premium support package with in-country terms” including 24/7 customer support if mission critical systems fail. This is a one-year contract from April 17-April 16, 2022.
