An HP security executive will examine how organizations should look at security breaches from the perspective of the intruder at a security conference later this month.
Art Gilliland, senior vice president and general manager of Enterprise Security Products for HP will be giving a keynote address at the RSA conference in San Francisco on Feb. 26, the company announced in a press release.
His presentation, titled "Stop Looking for the Silver Bullet: Start Thinking Like a Bad Guy," will focus on "how to combat the full life cycle of an attack, rather than focusing solely on breach prevention."
The annual RSA conference, primarily a gathering of members of the IT security industry, is scheduled for Feb. 24-28 in San Francisco.
