Eric Rosburg, who has more than 20 years in technology, has been named regional sales manager for state, local and education clients in the West for Illumio.
The company offers “a security segmentation (also known as micro-segmentation) platform that gives you 20/20 application visibility and 24/7 control to stop lateral movement — preventing the spread of breaches on endpoints or across any data center or cloud on bare-metal, virtual machines and containers.” Its clients include governments, educational and financial institutions and private-sector companies.
Rosburg is a veteran of both the public and private sectors, most recently having been regional sales manager for SLED West for Centrify. His previous affiliations in the private sector include roles with Enterprise Networking Solutions, DynTek and NWN Corp. In the public sector, Rosburg served in IT leadership and director roles with school districts in Napa County, West Sacramento and Benicia.
“I’m really excited about joining Illumio,” Rosburg told Techwire. “Not only are we the clear leader in the security segmentation space, but we also make segmentation much simpler.”
Rosburg, who lives in the greater Sacramento area, is a graduate of the University of Phoenix with a bachelor’s degree in business administration.
