InterVision Names Brandon Carter to Account Exec Role for State Government

Brandon Carter, who has more than 20 years’ experience in technology sales and integration, has joined InterVision as enterprise account manager for state government clients in California.

InterVision is a managed services provider, delivering and supporting complex IT solutions for mid-to-enterprise and public-sector organizations.

“I live here in Sacramento, and I am most excited to be working for InterVision and focusing on the state of [California] customers solving business challenges while leveraging the scale and resiliency that a cloud architecture presents,” Carter told Industry Insider — California. “I started my technology career at Hewlett Packard in Roseville and have spent most of my career in the integration space, primarily focused on and partnered with the state of CA.”

Carter was most recently with Amazon Web Services, where he focused on cloud transformation for local governments in Northern California, Nevada, Washington and Alaska. Before Amazon, his previous affiliations included Entisys360, GovQA (part of Granicus), Kovarus, EMC, NWN Corp., MarketWare and Hewlett Packard Enterprise.

In his new role, Carter reports to Gregg Deeschaemaker, InterVision vice president for U.S. public sector.

Carter earned his bachelor’s degree in agribusiness management/marketing from California Polytechnic State University in San Luis Obispo. In his free time, he said, he volunteers at Holy Spirit Parish School, which his children attend. He said he enjoys visiting Lake Tahoe as often as possible.
