The Los Angeles County Department of Public Works will be releasing three significant IT solicitations over the next few months.

That list of projects include traffic control, case and project management systems. And while information about the projects is very scarce, some select details offer a glimpse at the type of work and the expected timeline for the requests for proposal.

The first pre-solicitation — expected to publish at some point this month — is for the third phase of an Advanced Traffic Control Systems project. The only information given about the location of the project is that it is “throughout L.A. County.” This solicitation is being managed by Jairo M. Flores.

The second pre-solicitation — expected to be published at some point in November — is for the County Project Management Information System. Like the first project, this one offers little in the way of more information. It is being managed by David T. Pang.

The last pre-solicitation — expected to be published in December — is for an Enterprise Case Management System. Danny Medina is listed as the solicitation point person. Beyond that, no other information is available.
