xFusion offers a full spectrum of IT services in the areas of enterprise architecture, legacy systems modernization, custom product development, outsourced product development and data engineering.
The company, which serves the private sector as well as government agencies in multiple states, was founded by Sanjib Nayak, the CEO. Nayak played a key role in an implementation involving the California Student Aid Commission, in which he explained that his company’s role was to determine “how we can take this big elephant and cut it up into small pieces … so the business user doesn’t need to wait two years to get it. In eight months, we took that system live.”
Ray described xFusion’s Unified Data Platform as “a self-service data operations platform that empowers less-technology-savvy users to collaborate and efficiently deliver end-to-end data operations life cycle functions, e.g., data integration, data sharing, analytics, master and metadata management, data management and governance functions, anytime at any place.”
Ray, based in the Sacramento area, is an alumnus of the University of Arizona.
