Marin County Hires Its First Digital Product Manager

The county of Marin has hired its first digital product manager in Johanna “Jodi” Hoadley, a veteran in the product management and experience space. She began the new role Jan. 5.

Hoadley serves as part of the Digital Services and Innovation team within the Office of the County Executive, and will be responsible for guiding the design, delivery and evolution of the myriad digital services the county offers its residents.

“The idea of building human-centered digital solutions for the county’s constituents is thrilling,” said Hoadley in an email. “I’m looking forward to creating products that help people, where the motivation is service, not profit.”

Hoadley most recently founded Hikerly, a travel and gear website, and before that served as the director of project management for AllTrails, an outdoor recreation app. Hoadley’s resume also includes time at Apple, Yahoo! and The Mercury News, among others.

“In Marin, we have the gift of constituents with high expectations. With Jodi in this role, we now have someone fully dedicated to integrating what those expectations are, meeting constituents where they are, and bringing the full weight of Marin County resources to high-quality service delivery,” Communications Director Laine Hendricks said in an email.
