Members Briefing on State Budget Rescheduled

The editorial team at Techwire has rescheduled the Members Briefing on the state budget, which had been scheduled for Tuesday.

The briefing will examine the new state budget with an eye toward technology, but because the final budget had not been signed as of Friday and may change, the Members Briefing will instead be held at 11 a.m. July 22.

“We may see no difference in the final budget that the governor will sign, but we want to make sure we have time to review the final budget before we make a detailed presentation,” said Alan Cox, executive vice president of e.Republic and publisher of Techwire. “We also know that there are many trailer bills being worked on, and those will be covered by Techwire as they are passed. We apologize for any inconvenience but feel this is the best path to ensure a worthwhile briefing.”

In the briefing, Cox will be joined by Joe Morris, e.Republic’s deputy chief innovation officer. Moderating will be Dennis Noone, Techwire’s managing editor.

Those who have already registered for the briefing need not re-register, and an updated confirmation with calendar reminder will be emailed to you.
