“While I was in college at UC Berkeley and immersing myself in Silicon Valley/all things tech, I made a list of the top three companies I wanted to work for and be a part of,” Ayineh told Techwire. “Safe to say, Microsoft was on that list for two reasons: 1. Microsoft touches all, if not most people, companies, and causes with its broad portfolio of technologies, and there are few companies that have the kind of power to make such significant impact. 2. I’ve always aligned with Microsoft’s culture (without even knowing it). For example, the growth mindset, one of our principles here, has been one of my biggest personal mantras for years now. … When I was presented with the opportunity to be an Azure specialist for Los Angeles City/County, where I’ve lived for 22 years, and help the agencies I’m personally connected to embrace an already accelerated journey to the cloud, there was no better time to embrace the growth mindset and join Microsoft.”
Before her tenure with Oracle, Ayineh began her tech career with InFlux Partners, where she held business development roles.
“My goal is to make a direct impact in helping the Los Angeles agencies strengthen their cloud adoption and road map with all that Azure has to offer and, more importantly, serving as a trusted partner and adviser to them,” she told Techwire. “There’s a lot of work I’d like to accomplish around helping the city and county maximize their utilization of cloud infrastructure so they can be environmentally proactive and allow employees access to complete their jobs from anywhere with an Internet connection, which COVID has already significantly accelerated.”
Ayineh is a graduate of the University of California at Berkeley, where she received her bachelor’s degree in media studies and English. She has several professional credentials, including sales and cloud architecture certifications from Oracle and Microsoft.
