The Municipal Information Systems Association of California (MISAC) has announced the details of its fall 2025 conference.

The annual all-chapters gathering will be held Oct. 19-22 at the Town and Country Resort in San Diego, according to Brad Walker, executive director of the statewide group.

In an announcement in MISAC’s latest newsletter, Walker said: “Jude Palank, our meetings and events manager, and I toured the hotel a couple of weeks ago and both of us immediately concluded the Town and Country is a perfect venue for a fun, yet educational, MISAC conference. The property is very modern but has a great retro vibe to it.”

MISAC conferences include breakout sessions, briefings with municipal and state government technology leaders from across California and networking opportunities.

“More information is on the horizon but we want all MISAC members to get the 2025 MISAC Annual Conference on their calendar,” Walker said.

Of the venue, he said: “A couple of years ago, the Town and Country completed a multi, multimillion-dollar refurbishment and they did a phenomenal job of updating and upgrading the entire hotel yet were able to maintain a classic older hotel vibe. The hotel lends itself to some fantastic and fun opportunities. I have no doubt this will be a conference to be remembered when all is said and done.”

Walker’s conference announcement was included in the latest edition of the MISAC newsletter. The newsletter also contains details about the 27 MISAC member agencies that were recently recognized for “Excellence in IT.”
