Bagelman has a lengthy resume filled with executive-level account management experience.
Most recently, he served as the principal account executive for Veracode, and before that, held an enterprise account executive role with Cyberbit.“We are thrilled to have Oliver join the team at such a pivotal moment for California’s digital infrastructure. His deep understanding of the Envision 2026 goals and the Cal-Secure road map ensures that our SLED partners aren't just buying software, but are gaining a strategic ally dedicated to the state's long-term cyber maturity,” Trellix Sales Director Wanda Porter said in an email.
Bagelman’s other work experience includes time at Code42, Outpost24, Apple, Dell and Iron Mountain, among others.
“Oliver’s expertise in platform consolidation is exactly what’s needed to help West Coast agencies move from reactive security to proactive resilience,” Porter added.
In this new role, Bagelman will be helping state, local and education organizations in California navigate an increasingly complex cybersecurity and budgetary environment.
“One of the biggest challenges I see for California agencies is the pressure to strengthen cyber resilience while working within tight budgets, limited resources and increasingly complex environments,” Bagelman said in a statement. “Trellix helps by reducing that complexity, bringing key security capabilities together into a unified platform, and helping teams focus their resources on the threats that matter most.”
Trellix specializes in “high-fidelity detections and automating AI-driven detection and response across cloud, on-premises, air-gapped and operational technology environments,” according to its website.
