Opportunity Alert: Orange County DA’s Public Administrator Plans RFP for Case Management System

The county will be seeking a commercial, off-the-shelf solution to replace its legacy CMS. The RFP is planned to be issued this summer, with an expected award coming in early 2025.

A large opportunity is on the horizon for vendors as the Orange County Office of the District Attorney – Public Administrator prepares to release a request for proposal for a case management system (CMS).

The county will be seeking a commercial, off-the-shelf solution to replace its legacy CMS. The RFP is planned to be issued this summer, with an expected award coming in early 2025.

The county will seek proposals from a vendor or vendors who will be responsible for implementing a modern, robust CMS that will be hosted on a cloud-based platform. The solicitation is due to include the necessary software, services and tools to meet the business and technical needs of the DA’s Office, its staff and others working in the criminal justice space.

Details about the statement of work or other solution functions will not be disclosed before the formal release of the RFP. Vendors and their representatives are asked to hold any questions or inquiries until after the official release of the RFP and initiation of the question-and-answer period of the formal solicitation process.

The RFP will be posted and responses managed through the county’s procurement portal. Vendors are encouraged to register and subscribe in advance of the release of the RFP.
