The Office of Technology Services today released an Invitation for Bid (IFB) for the private sector to compete to provide cloud networking services to state and local agencies through the state data center. The initiative is being called “CalCloud.”
"This IFB is the first step in providing our government customers a cloud service that is flexible and secure, that will reduce cost and increase efficiencies to better serve Californians," said OTech Director Ron Hughes in apress release.
The deadline to respond to the IFB is August 26, 2013.
