
In announcing Gabele’s new role with Pegasystems, the cloud software company cited her state expertise, market experience, solution insight and innovation, along with her understanding of state processes, needs and relationships.
“I love this state,” Gabele said, “and I enjoy helping state leaders and their teams tackle planned and unexpected challenges, while advancing and finding new ways to innovate and improve services for all Californians, workers, businesses and those counting on us throughout our nation and world.”
Before joining Pegasystems, Gabele served as the lead client executive for DXC Technology Services LLC, a global system integrator focused on California state government. She has also served in direct, client-facing roles on behalf of Microsoft, Hewlett Packard, Commvault and other organizations. In addition, Gabele has served as an Americas public sector marketing manager, Western U.S. alliance manager and business development executive, and has worked with public-sector vertical organizations including local government, Nevada state government, education, health care, and numerous other commercial industries during her career.
Clint Buytenhuys, Pega’s state and local director for Public Sector West, said he’s excited to have Gabele join the team.
“Pega has built a powerhouse team here in Sacramento, and we are excited Julie made the decision to join our team,” Buytenhuys said, calling Gabele “a great match for our clients and the Pega team.”
Gabele lives in the greater Sacramento region with her husband. She has a bachelor’s degree in business administration from California State University at Sacramento, with a concentration in marketing. She has also completed additional post-degree college classes.
