Just weeks into the new role, Tan is focused on putting his expertise to use in the service of public-sector agencies navigating the complex and often intimidating modern technology landscape.
Tan was most recently with another big name in the industry, Slalom, where he held several leadership roles over more than a decade, including as the company’s global sales director.
“For me, Slalom will always be more than a workplace; it is a family of brilliant, kind and driven people who believe in doing what is right, building with purpose and leaving things better than we found them,” he said in a LinkedIn post about his departure.
This isn’t Tan’s first exposure to life at Deloitte; he held a managerial role with the company between 2006 and 2009, before moving on to a senior manager role with Matrix Consulting Group.
Tan holds a master's in health administration from the University of Southern California and a bachelor's in human and community development from the University of California, Davis.
