Research, Advisory Group Augments Firm’s California Team

Three recent hires will enable Info-Tech Research Group to boost its delivery presence in the state.

A growing IT research and advisory company has made three key additions to its service delivery team in California in recent weeks.

Info-Tech Research Group has brought on board Angelina Atkins, Neal Rosenblatt and Peg Yeates, all as executive counselors. Atkins and Rosenblatt joined June 7; Yeates joined May 10. The trio will help the company enhance its team and business in the state.

“As Info-Tech continues to grow, we are investing in our local service delivery team,” Hannes Scheidegger, Info-Tech’s senior market leader for public sector in the Western U.S., told Techwire via email. “We continue to see growth above 20 percent and this allows us to hire highly experienced team members in our local markets. We are very happy to see Angelina, Peg and Neal join our team.”

Atkins assists chief experience officers (CXOs) and IT leadership teams in reaching “successful business outcomes resulting in revenue growth, operational excellence, improved customer experience and cost optimization,” according to her company biography. She has had “significant visibility into a myriad of Fortune 100/500, midsize and startup organizations” in sectors including tech and government. Before joining Info-Tech, she had a “long tenure” working with CXOs in Gartner’s Executive Programs. In a statement, Atkins said she was “drawn to Info-Tech because of its dynamic growth and collaborative culture,” adding: “I like that Info-Tech’s content and tools are actionable, taking a further step in helping organizations drive impact and results with information and technology.”

“With her professional network and decadelong experience advising CIOs and IT leaders in the public and private sector, Angelina is going to greatly increase Info-Tech’s capability to bring top both service delivery to our clients in California and the entire West,” the company said in a statement.

Neal Rosenblatt
Rosenblatt has more than 20 years’ experience in “progressive public health research science and informatics leadership” in state and local government, according to his company biography. Before joining Info-Tech, he held “numerous technology strategy and solutions development, data integration, and data analytics leadership roles,” including serving as informatics chief at the Center for Health Statistics and Informatics, in the California Department of Public Health. In a statement, Rosenblatt highlighted his nearly 25 years as a research scientist and informaticist in public health, indicating “resource-deprived state and local governments are not always equipped with the support needed to maintain its workforce, programs and infrastructure,” a reality he said COVID-19 exposed. “Research and advisory services, like Info-Tech, can effectively service this gap.”

“Neal’s deep expertise in the public health domain covers an area that is in high demand, yet not well-served by most advisory firms,” Info-Tech said, noting that Rosenblatt’s focus will be on “members in public health and health and human services.”

Yeates has more than 35 years in technology, including 25 years at West Coast counties and cities. She has a reputation as a “trusted leadership partner,” earned by a focus on stakeholder needs and “converting those needs into tangible solutions delivered on time and on budget,” according to her company biography. She was most recently IT director for Tulare County, where she spearheaded the implementation of PMI methodology, upgrading radio tower equipment from analog to digital and increasing microwave coverage to 95 percent. “I chose to come to Info-Tech because my greatest passion is solving problems and helping others grow. This position within this organization allows me to do both,” she said in a statement.

“Peg raises the bar in terms of Info-Tech’s knowledge and expertise in local government,” the company said in a statement, indicating her “experience as a local government CIO augments our understanding in this space and adds a local resource to our team.”
