Robert Half Government Names Batchelor to Managing VP Role

Sacramento-area resident Jack Batchelor has held a number of increasingly responsible roles with the company since joining in 2015.

Robert Half Government has named veteran sales executive Jack Batchelor the managing vice president for the western U.S.

Batchelor, based in the Sacramento area, joined Robert Half in March 2015 as a field training manager. He then progressed through the ranks at the firm, serving as senior manager of corporate learning, regional vice president, vice president for strategic accounts, and vice president and senior vice president for the Western region before being named to his current role.

“As the managing vice president for Robert Half Government, my focus is the professional development of my team and our continued drive to partner with state, local and education agencies/departments to provide them the necessary services so they can achieve their mission,” Batchelor told Industry Insider — California. “I have a team of five business development professionals that cover the public sector in the western half of the U.S.”

Before joining Robert Half, Batchelor held various sales and executive positions with Intel, TEKsystems Inc., MetaVista Consulting Group and Stability Technology Partners.

In his LinkedIn profile, he lists his areas of expertise as including leadership, management, business development, strategy and business analysis.

Batchelor is an alumnus of California State University at Chico, where he earned his bachelor’s degree in political science.

Off the job, Batchelor is active in the Drowning Accident Rescue Team (DART), an all-volunteer primary water rescue unit, the only volunteer emergency dive team and a provider of water safety education. DART is a nonprofit organization composed of public safety divers, dive tenders, swift water rescue technicians, rescue boat operators and a support crew. Batchelor, who has been a member since January 2022, currently serves as DART’s treasurer.
