Russell Joins Software Licensing Consultants as SLED Account Exec

Craig Russell, a longtime sales professional specializing in public-sector technology, has joined Software Licensing Consultants as an account executive serving the public sector.

Software Licensing Consultants (SLC) specializes in selling Oracle licensing and consulting, and in his new role Russell is focused on clients in Northern California state and local government and education.

Russell told Industry Insider — California in an email that he’s been “focused on cloud and on-prem technology solutions for State of CA departments and agencies for the last 15 years at Microsoft, SAP, EMC, Nutanix, and Oracle.” He added: “SLC helps customers save money on their Oracle licensing costs.”

During more than 23 years in the industry, Russell has also worked as a sales engineer and consulting channel manager.

The El Dorado Hills resident is a graduate of the University of California at Irvine, where he earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in psychology and a Bachelor of Science degree in information and computer science. In his LinkedIn profile, he lists his top two areas of expertise as software as a service (SaaS) and strategic alliances.
