The latest of HPPA’s “What’s Possible” event series, the gathering will host a panel of private- and public-sector speakers who will share with the audience their experiences with technology and government, and their efforts advancing state and local data initiatives. Panel members include:
- Jennifer Saha, National Director of the Public Sectors Council of the Computing Technology Industry Association (CompTIA)
- Tim Ray, Regional Vice President, AT&T External Affairs Northern California
- Maria MacGunigal, Chief Information Officer of the City of Sacramento
- Yo Yoshida, CEO and Co-Founder of Appallicious Inc.
- Almis Udrys, Director of Performance & Analytics, City of San Diego
- Maya Wallace, Performance Manager of the California Department of Justice (moderator)
“The university now is working on a very exciting project to bring a downtown school of public affairs to expand its presence within blocks of the state government center,” said Josh Rosa, a representative of HPPA. “The idea is integrating these ideas of technology and data into to students’ public service careers. “
Rosa said more details on the development of the school will be discussed at the event.
