Seasoned journalist Samantha Young has joined Techwire as a contributing editor. She previously worked as a reporter for The Associated Press where she covered California government.
Prior to coming to California, she lived in Washington, D.C., and covered Congress and the federal government for the newspaper chain Stephens Media group, whose flagship newspaper is the Las Vegas Review-Journal.
Most recently she co-edited The Almanac of the Unelected.
Samantha has covered four political national conventions, seven presidential States of the Union, the 2010 California governor’s race and countless legislative sessions.
She graduated with a bachelor’s degree in journalism and minors in political science and French from the University of Missouri.
