San Luis Obispo official to take over as CCISDA President

San Luis Obispo Assistant County Administrative Officer Guy Savage has been elected president of the California County Information Services Directors Association (CCISDA) for the 2013-14 cycle.

"CCISDA is a remarkable organization and I am proud to serve as its president," Savage said.

CCISDA is a not-for-profit organization that encourages collaboration between county CIOs and IT directors within California.

New CCISDA members joining their board start as Secretary/Treasurer, then move up through the ranks every year before "graduating" out after their presidency. Savage’s position as president was ratified at CCISDA’s annual meeting in late October.

"Continued outreach to non-participating County CIOs, expanding collaboration opportunities and furthering the strategic goals of the organization will be the primary focus during my brief tenure as president," Savage said.
