Öney, based in the Los Angeles area, will be leading the holistic marketing strategy and campaign execution in collaboration with others in Slalom’s local markets.
Öney will focus on promoting Slalom’s Accelerators, which the company says are “designed to address mission-critical challenges facing government, education and nonprofit organizations.”
She was most recently with Arrow Electronics in the role of market intelligence manager for state and local government and education (SLED). Before that, Öney held marketing and account executive roles with Laserfiche and JCI Worldwide Inc.
Öney’s volunteer activities include serving on STEM Advantage’s Marketing Committee and mentoring STEM scholars. She also served internships with the U.S. House of Representatives, the U.S. Senate and Deloitte Turkey.
