State Controller John Chiang’s office today released a report of recommendations from the Task Force on Reengineering IT Procurement for Success as the Senate Budget Subcommittee #4 gets ready to hold a hearing on the MyCalPays system, or 21st Century Project that was halted earlier this year after a troubled history. The task force was established in February after the state terminated vendor SAP ‘s $90 million contract because of systems errors in the pilot.
