Since the novel coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic began hitting California hard in the first half of March, the state has scrambled to provide resources to inform the residents and caregivers in the nation’s most populous state. Among those resources is an online portal,
COVID19.CA.gov, which offers a wealth of data as well as tips on health and well-being in addition to business openings and stats about the pandemic’s spread.
The
California Department of Public Health, which runs the site, tweeted Thursday: “Earlier this week we marked a milestone: 10M users. 10,394,807 (26.2% of CA’s population), to be exact, have sought information & services on COVID19.CA.gov. This just reinforces why we prioritize providing clear, accessible, fast, trusted information. Now, back to work.”
While that Web portal provides vast resources for the public, governments and health-care providers, it also offers a link
of special interest to IT vendors.
