
Wong has an extensive background as a manager and executive with major technology companies, and has also served in leadership roles with a number of industry organizations.

Wong joins Tanium from Tenable, where he was director of U.S Public-Sector Strategy and Business Development, heading up federal, state and local government. Before his tenure with Tenable, Wong held management and leadership positions with companies including Dell EMC, BMC Software, Nexus IS and CompUSA.
He currently serves as vice chair of the Industry Leadership Advisory Council for the Information Technology Industry Council and is a member of the CompTIA SLED Council. In addition, Wong has been named a Life Member of the National Association of State Technology Directors “for years of meritorious service and outstanding commitment to the professional organization.”
In his LinkedIn profile, the Bay Area resident cites his expertise in the state and local government, higher education and K-12 sectors and “excellent CxO relationships (and) in-depth knowledge on public procurement/contracting agreements.”
