Powers, based in the Sacramento area, started in the industry with Hewlett-Packard in January 2000, according to her LinkedIn profile. She moved through a variety of roles with HP over the ensuing years before joining Aruba, a Hewlett-Packard Enterprise company, in 2013. She joined Alteryx last month.

Powers is a graduate of Cal State Sacramento, having earned her bachelor’s in business administration with a focus on strategic management.
