Tech Veteran Bearden Joins DGI as Senior Sales Engineer

DGI, based in Redding, is an education technology company “committed to challenging how education can expand K-12 student potential.”

“I’m ecstatic to announce my new role as senior sales engineer at Development Group Inc.,” Bearden told Techwire. “Here at DGI, I’ll be focusing on the K-12 education sector, specializing in Cisco Network Solutions, Meraki, Aruba, Unified Communications, collaboration, wireless, network infrastructure and network security.” DGI also specializes in professional services, managed services, data centers, construction services and network operating centers.

Bearden began working in technology almost 30 years ago as a computer and network specialist with the U.S. Marine Corps. His subsequent professional affiliations include Lucent Technologies, Feeding America, Centrify Corp., Consolidated Communications and RagingWire Enterprise Solutions. He joined DGI this month.
