After five years, 5,170 articles published, 166 videos posted and countless email newsletters and print magazines distributed, I have decided to make a final dash across the finish line and leave behind my position as editor of Techwire. Despite my leaving, I am confident the seasoned editorial team and talented designers will continue to keep Techwire a must-read for everyone working in California’s government IT community.
Launching this publication has been both challenging and rewarding, a venture that included starting my own business in 2011 and eventually merging with a well-established, national publishing company. It’s been quite a journey that leaves me with many lessons learned and no regrets. Indeed, I am fortunate and inspired to try something new.
Thank you to our readers and sponsors. I am grateful for your support over the years, for staying engaged and believing in our mission. The goal was simple, and it remains the same — to document California's digital transformation and spotlight the work being performed by those working in state government. In creating a new platform for public discourse, I took seriously the need to be responsible, credible and transparent. I believe Techwire remains true to these fundamental goals and more.
E.Republic will continue to invest in the Techwire brand and is committed to providing customers with a high-quality, job-critical product. As members of the Techwire community, you will be hearing more specifically about that in the very near future.
Farewell and thank you for reading.
