The rail authority is responsible for planning, designing, building and operating the nation’s first high-speed rail system, which “will connect the mega-regions of the state.”
According to the State Contracting and Procurement Registration System, HSR spent $1,846,350, with rounding, on its five largest awards for services from July 1 through Sept. 30. The five were:
- $950,000 for “expert resources to support eBuilder configuration and optimization of new and existing functionality; support ongoing maintenance and operational activities; and support the migration of legacy data into eBuilder.” The July 12 contract, which runs through Dec. 30, 2024, was awarded to Ministry of Velocity LLC.
- $500,000 for “business analysis services to improve and streamline business processes in support of enhancements, modifications, upgrades, and integrations of a variety of Authority technology solutions,” in a July 5 contract, which runs through Dec. 31, 2024, with Capio Group.
- $300,000 for “expert resources to support the Authority’s Salesforce platform and its integrations and customizations,” in a July 5 contract, which runs through Dec. 31, 2024, with Spectrum Advanced Technologies.
- $56,028 for “ERWIN DATA MODELER WORKGROUP EDITION — ON-PREMISE NODE-LOCKED PER NAMED USER 24X7 TERM LICENSE/MAINT TERM: 8/20/2023-8/20/2024,” in an Aug. 4 contract with System Solutions DVBE Inc.
- $40,322 for “Egnyte Platform Subscription — Business Plan Term: 06/21/2023 - 6/20/2024,” in an Aug. 21 contract with Advanced Technical Solutions.
By comparison, HSR spent $7,014,362 on its 10 largest purchases of IT services in the first half of the year.
