In the last quarter of 2023, CHP spent $22,435,700 on its five largest purchases of IT goods, the majority of which was for radio and communications equipment and notebook computers.
From Jan. 1 through March 31, CHP’s top five buys of IT goods, with rounding, were:
- $14,987,727 for in-car video camera units, in a March 5 statewide contract with Coban Technologies Inc.
- $1,216,654 for Microsoft Unified Advanced Support for cloud services, in a Feb. 21 contract with a term of Feb. 27, 2024, through Feb. 26, 2025. This contract was awarded to Softchoice Corp. under the software licensing program.
- $888,981 for Sharp multicolor printers in a March 21 cooperative-agreement contract with Smile Business Products Inc.
- $879,666 for Panasonic Win Pro-11 tablet computers, in a Jan. 8 statewide contract with CDW Government LLC.
- $797,806 for Cisco CX Enterprise Agreement in a Feb. 28 statewide contract with Presidio Networked Solutions Group.
The department’s five largest purchases of IT services in the first quarter of 2024 totaled $4,843,923, with the majority of that — $4,567,350 — coming in a March 29 contract with Flock Group Inc. for an annual subscription.
