Tracking the Spend: Consumer Affairs’ Q1 IT Goods Spend

The Department of Consumer Affairs spent just more than $2 million on its top seven IT goods purchases in the first quarter of this year.

The Department of Consumer Affairs has spent just more than $2 million on its top seven IT goods purchases of Q1.

The DCA website describes the agency as a “unique and dynamic department made up of 36 different boards, bureaus, a committee, a commission, and a program that license[s] and regulate[s] more than 3.4 million licensees in more than 280 license types including certificates, registrations, and permits.”

The department spent $2,067,366.59 on its top buys of IT goods from Jan. 1-March 31, which included subscription services, network hardware, and more. Those purchases are as follows (numbers have been rounded):

  • $609,425 for Microsoft Premier Unified support subscription through IT service and equipment provider Ablegov Inc. That contract ends in February 2027.
  • $394,823 for a PowerEdge MX7000 enclosure through PC Specialists Inc.
  • $364,667 for Aruba 6300M networking equipment through NWN Solution Corporation.
  • $293,090 for enterprise Adobe Acrobat Pro subscription renewal services through Allied Network Solutions Inc.
  • $155,669 for 270 Geotab GO9B telematics devices, ProPlus plan, harnesses, installation, and training from Geotab USA Inc. That contract expires in June 2025.
  • $139,151 for Cisco Nexus 9300 network switches through NWN Solution Corporation. 
  • $110,540 for Box Enterprise subscription licenses through StateStore.
