Tracking the Spend: Department of Real Estate’s Top Q1 Spends

The California Department of Real Estate spent just more than $100,000 on its top seven IT goods purchases of the first quarter.

The California Department of Real Estate (DRE) spent just more than $100,000 on its top seven IT goods purchases in the first quarter of this year.

DRE is tasked with overseeing the licensing, regulation and enforcement of the state’s real estate industry, according to its website.

The department spent $103,991.70 on its top buys of IT goods from Jan. 1-March 31, which included scanning applications, call center equipment and more. Those purchases are as follows (numbers have been rounded):

  • $51,876 for Barracuda Content Shield from Strato Communications Inc. That contract expires in February 2027.
  • $15,298 for Nexsan Assureon encryption key escrow license and support from Strato Communications Inc.
  • $10,458 for toolkit production maintenance and support renewal from Strato Communications Inc.
  • $9,363 for Tenable.io Web Application Scanning Web Apps from Acuity Technical Solutions. 
  • $6,076 for CMS Hub Professional from Strato Communications Inc.
  • $5,837 for 25 ServicePRO professional edition licenses, updates and support from System Solutions DVBE Inc.
  • $5,082 for call center headset equipment from Granite Data Solutions.
