Tracking the Spend: Office of Systems Integration’s Top IT Services Buys in Q2

The office’s five largest transactions for IT services in the second quarter totaled $2,750,409, according to the State Contract and Procurement Registration System.

The Office of Systems Integration (OSI), part of the California Health and Human Services Agency, spent just over $2.75 million on its top five purchases of IT services in the second quarter of 2022.

According to the State Contract and Procurement Registration System, OSI’s spend in the second quarter for the five largest transactions, totaling $2,750,409, were for the following:
  • “IV&V Services - CWS-CARES Agreement 75340176 ENY 2021,” a $2,499,999 contract that runs three years, from May 1 through April 30, 2024. “IV & V” refers to independent verification and validation, a form of comprehensive software evaluation done by a third party. The contract was awarded to Technology Management Solutions Inc. under an IT master services agreement.
  • “ATL-MP-SCRIPTCL-500R Atlassian ScriptRunner for Jira Cloud for Jira Work Management (Cloud) 500 Users (Annual Payments) Renewal,” an April 20 purchase totaling $82,000 that was a competitive award with a small-business option. The purchase was with Allied Network Solutions Inc.
  • “SE-S-CLD-GOV-FED-PR - Splunk Cloud Subscription with attested FedRAMP Moderate impact level controls Encryption at Rest, and Premium Success Plan - GB/day.” This $73,500 purchase has a term of June 25 through June 24, 2023, and it was a competitive award with a small-business option made through SunstoneIT.
  • “SB-AD366 - MicroFocus Functional Test Seat User - Subscription-UFT One (1) Seat User Subscription SW ELTU,” a one-seat subscription purchased April 4 for $61,325 through Advanced Technical Solutions Inc. under a competitive small-business option contract. MicroFocus’ UFT One “accelerates and simplifies end-to-end functional testing with one solution that builds and automates tests for enterprise apps using embedded AI- based capabilities.”
  • “TSCCV Tenable.sc+ Continuous View - Subscription Renewal, IP Bands: 1,000,” a Cyber Exposure platform by Tenable that’s managed on-prem. The $33,585 contract, awarded April 21 under a competitive bid/small-business option, was through Allied Network Solutions.
