Trinity Technology Group Names Tech Veteran Plain to Director Role

He said his goals include expanding Trinity Technology Group’s business with the state in the areas of Microsoft Dynamics, UiPath and ServiceNow, among other technical areas.

Russ Plain, a longtime tech executive with a background in sales, management and consulting, has been named director of Customer Advocacy and Business Development for Trinity Technology Group.

Plain has more than 25 years in the tech and related industries, having most recently been an account executive with MTX Group in Sacramento. His previous affiliations include Visionary Integration Professionals (VIP), Kyindi, OpenText, CDWG, Cisco, Ernst & Young and CSC, among others.

“I am very excited to join Trinity Technology Group as director of Customer Advocacy and Business Development,” Plain told Industry Insider — California. “I have two primary objectives, as the title states: 1) Focus on customer advocacy and customer service to bring the state the best solutions possible, and 2) Focus on expanding Trinity Technology Group business with the state in the areas of Microsoft Dynamics, UiPath, ServiceNow as well as other technical areas.”

Plain, a Loomis resident, received his Bachelor of Arts degree in mathematics from the University of Chicago.
