“I’m really excited to join Cloudflare and be part of their efforts to ‘Change the Internet,’” Reilly told Industry Insider — California. “This, along with a mature product solution set and their continued investments in solutions that will make the Internet secure, fast and reliable for the public-sector community, made the position an ideal fit for me.”
He said he chose Cloudflare because the company “has the energy and passion of a startup.”
Reilly has more than 20 years’ experience working with state and local government in California, having previously held account executive and sales roles with Marketware Technologies, Angus-Hamer Networking, Commvault, VMware and Informatica, in addition to MuleSoft.
“We are excited to have Scott join our SLED team at Cloudflare,” said Will Payne, Cloudflare’s head of sales for U.S. SLED. “Scott brings a wealth of experience in IT and throughout the state of California and will help further our mission of building a better Internet,” Payne told Industry Insider.
Reilly attended San Diego State University and received his bachelor’s degree in political science from California State University at Sacramento. Off the job, he’s been a volunteer with Cycle for Life and the Roseville West Little League.
