Video: Alpha Project Could Better Connect Residents to Services

Angelica B. Quirarte, assistant secretary for digital engagement for the California Government Operations Agency (GovOps) and Alpha project leader,  talked with Techwire about some of the goals informing the ongoing alpha.ca.gov sprint to transform the California state website. The initiative, which began in December, is now more than eight weeks along.

Most residents aren’t necessarily familiar with the intricacies of government bureaucracy, Quirarte said — and public-sector officials shouldn’t expect them to be.
