Video: Ready Tools, Situational Awareness via GIS Key in Disaster

OLYMPIC VALLEY — Butte County Information Services Department Director Art Robison talked with Techwire about the need for situational awareness and pre-existing GIS tools during a disaster, on Nov. 5 at the 2019 California County Information Services Directors Association (CCISDA) Fall Conference near Lake Tahoe.

Butte County, Robison said, was able to adapt solutions from some of its neighbors, which helped in its response to the 2018 Camp Fire.
