The California Office of Systems Integration has awarded a $2.48 million contract to Folsom-based Visionary Integration Professionals (VIP) to perform systems engineering services for the Case Management, Information and Payrolling System II implementation phase.
CMIPS II is replacing the original CMIPS, a 30-year-old application that tracks 400,000 cases in California in the In-Home Supportive Services programs, which assist qualified elderly, blind and disabled individuals.
The contract for CMIPS II was officially awarded on Feb. 1.
