Water Board Seeks Proposals for Esri Enterprise Package

The board uses GIS technology in its work on water quality, water rights and environmental protection. It’s seeking ongoing support for that technology.

The State Water Resources Control Board is seeking proposals for a three-year enterprise agreement for licensing and support of Esri geographic information system (GIS) technology.

The board, one of six entities within the California Environmental Protection Agency, is seeking “ongoing system support, including upgrades, bug fixes and patches,” for key components including ArcGIS Enterprise, VMware, Oracle 19c DBMS and Microsoft IIS.

The board uses GIS technology in its work on water quality, water rights and environmental protection.

The statement of work specifies that:
  • The hardware is VMware
  • The database management system is Oracle 19c
  • The application software is ArcGIS Enterprise, AGOL and ArcGIS Portal
  • The application language is JavaScript
  • The web application server is Microsoft IIS
  • The operating system is Windows 11
The request for proposals was issued Tuesday, and the deadline for questions is 2:30 p.m. Dec. 2. Responses are due at 2 p.m. Dec. 6. The contact for this solicitation is Timothy Lemus.
