Wiz has appointed Shona Cerami as Regional Director for its State, Local and Education (SLED) West business, where she will lead regional growth and customer engagement efforts. Cerami brings a strong track record of working across public sector and enterprise environments, with experience helping organizations navigate complex cloud, security, and compliance challenges.
In her new role, she will focus on supporting SLED organizations across the West, partnering with customers to accelerate cloud adoption while helping them identify and prioritize the risks that matter most in dynamic cloud environments. “SLED organizations are under increasing pressure to modernize while managing risk,” said Cerami. “I’m excited to join Wiz and help our customers gain the visibility and control they need to secure their cloud and AI environments and move faster with confidence.”
Company leadership emphasized the importance of the role as Wiz continues to invest in SLED. “Shona brings deep experience in building trusted relationships across the public sector community,” said Ken Kartsen, Vice President, Worldwide Public Sector Sales. “Her leadership will be instrumental as we expand our presence in the West and support organizations tackling some of today’s most complex cloud and AI security challenges.”
Cerami's experience with public-sector technology spans more than two decades, including roles at CDW and VMware. Her most recent role was as Area Vice President for SLED at Collibra. Cerami holds a bachelor's degree in Communication Studies from the University of Kansas and is based in the Phoenix area.
