ZScaler Names Hammond to Marketing Role for SLED/U.S.

Hammond, a Sacramento-area resident who attended UC Santa Barbara, describes her strengths as planning, negotiation, budgeting, vendor and partner management, government partnerships and strategic planning.

Longtime tech marketing professional Sherilyn Hammond has been named ZScaler’s field marketing manager for State, Local and Education/U.S.

Hammond began her career with GE Capital IT Solutions in 1992 and since then has been with Compaq, Hewlett-Packard, Public Sector Partners and ElevateGov before joining ZScaler this month.

“After 20-plus years of experience and building relationships with Public Sector/SLED, and the tech/cybersecurity industry, I am excited to be joining the ZScaler SLED team," Hammond told Techwire

Zscaler “delivers the inbound and outbound gateway stacks as a service, providing secure access to the Internet and applications in the data center or cloud,” the company says.
