· The bot monitors 3,000+ emails per day that are marked as suspicious in the county Information Technology Service Management (ITSM) system.
· The bot utilizes multiple tools to confirm if the emails are a threat, and classifies them accordingly in the ITSM.
· Results: A decreased threat detection time, increased efficiency with processing emails, and a stronger security posture.
· The Los Angeles County Department of Family and Social Services won the national NACo 2024 Achievement Award for Information Technology for the Xerox RPA automation that was implemented.
