CDW to bring world-class partner portfolio, technology solutions and services capabilities, and expertise at scale to deliver a state-of-the art Games experience

VERNON HILLS, Ill.  – June 12, 2025 – (Nasdaq: CDW), a leading provider of technology solutions to business, government, education and healthcare, today announced it has been named the Official IT Equipment Services and Solutions Provider of the LA28 Olympic and Paralympic Games and Team USA. In support of a historic and innovative upcoming Games in Los Angeles, CDW will draw upon its world-class breadth of partner technology offerings, depth of technical services and solutions capabilities, and expertise at scale to help enable LA28 for success. CDW is proud to play an integral role in partnering with LA28 to create an unparalleled experience for Olympic and Paralympic athletes, fans and the community.

Working closely with LA28 and in collaboration with its other technology partners, CDW will design, implement and manage a Device-as-a-Service (DaaS) full technology lifecycle solution, that includes hardware such as servers, laptops, desktops, tablets, and mobile devices, Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) provisioning, accessories, and pre-loaded enterprise applications and secure controls for LA28’s growing workforce as it scales up to successfully deliver the Games. Over the next few years, the solution will be fully supported both centrally and on-site by CDW experts who will provide a range of IT services and technology equipment for LA28’s offices as well as at the competition and non-competition venues, sites and facilities, ensuring success spanning the pre-Games, Games and post-Games periods.

During the Games, CDW will play a critical role, as the organization will implement and provide onsite support for the custom-designed and kitted DaaS technical infrastructure at all the event venues, including iconic existing stadiums and arenas, world-famous beaches and purpose-built temporary structures. Given the highly complex and varied nature of these Games and the associated technical requirements, the solution will be designed to enable LA28 to provide enhanced, world-class, athlete-centered experiences for competitors. The DaaS solution will also ensure quick access and visibility to reports from rules officials, key stats and data for coaches to help empower athlete performance, and timely and relevant information for fans and viewers alike.

“At CDW, we make technology work so people can do great things,” said Christine A. Leahy, chair and chief executive officer, CDW. “The Games are an extraordinary celebration on an unrivaled global stage, and CDW is honored to work side-by-side with LA28 with a complete solution to deliver exceptional experiences for the athletes, organizers, spectators and the Los Angeles community. Drawing upon our more than four decades of experience in helping solve our customers’ most complex technology challenges and deliver key outcomes, we are proud to partner with LA28 to support their important mission.” The partnership also supports LA28’s commitment to environmental sustainability by maximizing reuse of the technology equipment after the completion of the Games through the DaaS solution, serving as a model for future events.

“Coming together with CDW made so much sense for us, and we’re honored to have them onboard,” said David Michael, chief information officer for LA28. “CDW understands our needs and the DaaS solution inclusive of their services expertise and delivering at scale will be a critically important component to equipping our workforce and bringing our vision of the LA28 Games to life. We are excited to work together to not only execute a successful and historic Games, but also to support Los Angeles and the Olympic and Paralympic Movement long after the Closing Ceremony through a more sustainable solution.”
