Docusign Achieves FedRAMP Moderate Authorization for Its Intelligent Agreement Management Platform (IAM)

Docusign Empowers Federal Agencies with Secure, Modern Agreement Workflows

SAN FRANCISCO, Sept. 15, 2025 — Docusign (Nasdaq: DOCU) today announced that its Intelligent Agreement Management (IAM) platform has achieved FedRAMP® Moderate authorization, a milestone that makes it easier for federal government agencies to adopt secure, compliant, and modern agreement solutions.

Agreements aren't just paperwork. They are the backbone of how federal agencies operate and deliver services to their citizens. This authorization expands how Docusign can support the digital transformation of agencies and help them modernize critical agreement processes with trust, efficiency, and compliance at scale.

"Agreements are foundational to how federal agencies deliver on their missions, from managing procurement and hiring staff to processing benefits and awarding grants," said Lee Fisher, Vice President, Public Sector at Docusign. "With FedRAMP authorization, Docusign IAM enables agencies to handle these processes faster, smarter, and more securely – unlocking new efficiencies, reducing cost, and helping the government deliver services to constituents."

Modernization and Security for Government at Scale

With the IAM platform meeting the FedRAMP security requirements, agencies can confidently adopt the solution to replace paper-based agreement workflows with modern, AI-powered processes that:
  • Increase efficiency by digitizing and automating the entire agreement workflow, from drafting, signing, executing, management, and beyond.
  • Improve service delivery by reducing administrative burdens and freeing staff to focus on mission-critical work.
  • Unlock insights with AI, helping agencies identify risks, improve transparency, and make faster, data-driven decisions.

Building on a Record of Service

Today's announcement builds on Docusign's commitment to the public sector, including its recent discounted pricing program for Docusign solutions through the General Services Administration (GSA) OneGov initiative. Together, these milestones highlight Docusign's focus on helping government partners modernize while maximizing taxpayer value.

"Docusign has a proven record of helping more than 1.7 million customers worldwide to work smarter with agreements," added Fisher. "Now, with IAM meeting the FedRAMP security requirements, we're extending those same benefits to federal agencies, empowering them to deliver services at the speed of need, securely and seamlessly."

With its Docusign IAM platform, Docusign unleashes mission-critical data that is trapped inside of documents. Until now, these were disconnected from systems of record, leading to delayed service delivery, employee frustration, and increased compliance risk. Using Docusign IAM, organizations can create, commit, and manage agreements with FedRAMP, StateRAMP, and IL4-authorized solutions.
