A passionate security practitioner and strategist, Danny Jump is a senior product leader in Edge Security at HPE Networking, specializing in the evolution of enterprise cryptography from classical models toward Post Quantum Cryptography (PQC). With over three decades of experience across cybersecurity, identity, encrypted protocols, TPM, and network infrastructure, he architects modern device onboarding frameworks and critical security sensitive systems — particularly those leveraging Enrollment over Secure Transport and next generation PKI that bridges classical and quantum resistant cryptographic approaches. Danny’s current work centers on hardware roots of trust, HPKE-based onboarding, device attestation, and PQC ready DevID issuance, guiding engineering teams through the transition to emerging cryptographic standards and protocols.His focus is building resilient, future proof security architectures engineered for the quantum era. He’s known for turning complex security problems into clear, operational frameworks that teams can actually build and ship. At the heart of his work is a simple idea — that the networks we rely on tomorrow must be designed today, with cryptography strong enough to stand against whatever comes next.
