Kiefer Consulting has been a recognized leader in delivering innovative, Microsoft based solutions to clients in the public-sector for over 30 years.
This week, we are proud to announce that we are launching the Kiefer Telework App. The app is now available in the State of California Software Licensing Program (SLP) catalog. With the solution now available in the SLP, state departments can quickly procure and deploy the app to simplify the management of the telework agreement process.
What is the Telework App?
For many departments in the state, supporting telework requires that they have the right tools and processes in place. These tools should also be useful in helping departments identify trends, patterns, and anomalies in how their organization is adapting to telework. The Telework App helps organizations to do just that. In addition, California’s Telework Policy was updated last year, requiring all employees that telework to have signed a Telework Agreement (STD 200) and have their agreement signed by their managers. This semi-regular reporting requirement are streamlined using Kiefer’s Telework App.
To purchase the Telework App, departments can simply solicit a minimum of three contractors, obtain offers, and award purchase orders based upon lowest cost or best value as determined by the needs of the individual department. This will speed up the procurement process significantly. Since the Telework App is an approved software product in the SLP, individual departments do not have to formally release an RFP.
The Telework App is built on Microsoft 365, so most departments can move quickly since they will not need additional licensing. If additional licensing is required, Kiefer will help you in determining the licensing required to support the deployment of the Telework App.
