DMV Digital eXperience Platform (DXP): Transforming service delivery.
Pyxis served as a special advisor to the DMV for the DXP project, which modernizes occupational licensing, vehicle registration, and driver's license/ID issuance services. We provided expertise to both the Occupational Licensing and Vehicle Registration divisions, impacting over 126,000 licenses and 36 million registered vehicles. Upon completion, DXP will empower over 25,000 employees and service agents at over 5,000 locations across the state, offering a more efficient and user-friendly experience for Californians.
DMV Organizational Change Management: Navigating change, optimizing efficiency.
Pyxis partnered with the California Department of Motor Vehicles (DMV) to provide Organizational Change Management (OCM) services for their modernization project. This involved helping DMV staff, business partners and Californians adapt to changes impacting people, processes, and technology. We also supported the Disabled Person Placard (DPP) project that reduced placard misuse, enhanced program integrity, and optimized processes to accommodate future business changes. This resulted in a smooth transition for the 2.5 million temporary and permanent placard holders impacted by legislative changes.
CalHEERS Quality Assurance: Ensuring seamless access to healthcare.
We partnered with the California Healthcare Eligibility, Enrollment and Retention System (CalHEERS) to provide comprehensive Quality Assurance (QA) services. This includes review of project management, technical and process improvement, activities. Our work helped ensure the smooth implementation of a new portal for the Family Planning, Access, Care, and Treatment (FPACT) program, providing critical family planning services to eligible residents.
CalSAWS: Modernizing public assistance delivery.
Pyxis played a key role in the CalSAWS (California Statewide Automated Welfare System) Migration Project. The CalSAWS Migration Project migrated all 58 counties from 3 systems to a single system. We provided advisory services on design, development, implementation, and UAT for the success. We provided advisory services for design, development, implementation, and User Acceptance Testing (UAT) for the successful migration of 39 counties to a single, modern system. This project will ultimately serve over 18 million Californians and 41,500 daily users, streamlining public assistance delivery and improving accessibility.
