Enterprise Networking Solutions, Inc., a Sacramento information technology consulting firm, started the New Year off on a patriotic note, presenting a check for $20,000 to Patriots Honor Organization, a charity that assists veteran amputees regain their mobility and pursue their recreational passions.

ENS-Inc. raised the donated funds by hosting the firm’s second annual Giving Back to Veterans Golf Tournament at the Lincoln Hills Golf Course in November.

"On behalf of Enterprise Networking Solutions, Inc, it is our great honor to partner with Patriots Honor and to present the organization with this donation to be used for the betterment of disabled men and women veterans who have sacrificed their bodies and minds to defend this great country of ours," said Chad Hodges, ENS-Inc. Vice President.

Stuart Bisland, Patriots Honor Executive Director, accepted the check for the charity at a ceremony, Jan. 9, at ENS-Inc.’s corporate headquarters.

"Patriots Honor appreciates the generous support of Paul and Chad and everyone at ENS-Inc.," Bisland said. "This money will help fund the purchase of state-of-the-art prosthetics, specially designed sporting equipment and once-in-a-lifetime recreational opportunities for injured veterans who deserve all the support we can give them in their struggle to regain a sense of normalcy in their lives.  That’s what Patriots Honor is all about."

Both Hodges and company president, Paul Smitham are veterans themselves, as well as avid golfers.  Hodges said he believes Patriots Honor’s programs, such as Prosthetics4Patriots and Golf4Patriots, will greatly enhance the quality of life for disabled veterans.

"We welcome this opportunity to be a part of these efforts. On behalf of ENS-Inc, we thank Patriots Honor Organization for all they’re doing for these veterans. We hope this donation will be useful in helping these heroes to keep fighting the good fight."
