Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
- 7 years of experience in SaaS/Cloud Computing Sales focusing on education, state, or local government clients.
- Experience in technology related sales or business development, working with technology sales or public sector.
- 5 years of experience building strategic business partnerships with government customers.
- Experience promoting infrastructure software, databases, investigative tools, applications software, or cloud solutions.
- Experience with complex commercial and legal negotiations, working with procurement, legal and business teams.
- Experience working with and managing partners in complex implementation projects including global system integrators and packaged software vendors.
- Ability to work with sales engineers and customer’s technical leads to inventory existing software estate, define migration plans, and build business cases for migrations.

As a Field Sales Representative covering the Public Sector, you will leverage existing relationships with C-level executives, develop relationships, and act as a trusted business partner to understand company issues and goals. In this role, you will promote products to make organizations more productive, collaborative, and mobile.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $106,000-$163,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities
- Build executive relationships with public sector customers. Influence long-term strategic direction and serve as a business partner.
- Negotiate and manage the entire cycle, often presenting to C-level executives in public sector customers.
- Lead account strategy in generating and developing business growth opportunities, working collaboratively with Customer Engineers and Google Partners to optimize business results in territory and open up opportunities with large public sector customers.
- Understand each customer’s technology footprint, strategic growth plans and business drivers, technology strategy and engaged landscape.
- Drive business development, forecast accurately and achieve strategic goals by leading customers through the entire business cycle.
