Tarrant County will evaluate proposals for Freedom of Information Act software capable of automating and streamlining the fulfillment of open records requests.
Vendors with experience delivering enterprise solutions to government entities similar in size and scope to the county are welcome to respond. According to the RFP, the county is not interested in evaluating proposals that include development or that leverage third-party platforms to build out the solution.
The county wants proposals for solutions that are already developed, tested and can be deployed upon configuration. The contract will be contingent on the ability of the software to scale to meet current and future demand for related functionality and/or services from departments throughout the organization.
This project requires a secure, configurable and scalable solution to manage public information requests.
The selected vendor will meet with select county departments and divisions to better understand and define functional requirements. It is the county’s expectation that the solution will be configured and implemented in accordance with approved functional requirements for each department as elicited during the onboarding process.
Proposals are due by 2 p.m. April 21.
